Le Regard (The Gaze)

Between 1994 and 2000, Couturier created several figures with slightly tilted heads (Nude Self-Portrait, 1995), conveying a certain sadness.

This ambiguous sculpture revisits the principles of rigidity and concavity that characterize his mature works.
