In the Chapel
The former owners of the Donjon de Vez had themselves immortalized in a medieval-style recumbent statue by the animal sculptor Emmanuel Frémiet, who created numerous sculptures in Paris, including the one at the Observatory Fountain and the equestrian statue of Joan of Arc, as well as Saint Michael slaying the dragon at the Mont Saint-Michel.
