The Living Pavillon translates Studio Drift’s architectural vision : in an attempt to reconnect the viewer with his primordial environment, the structure adopts the rhythm of natural elements : each branch is independant and moves in a repetitive and balanced fashion, imitating the natural curves of a wave. The model creates a dialogue between science, architecture and nature. Its primary function is recomposed, to make it a moving architecture that harmoniously fits into space, and offers the viewer a new type of experience of buildings.

Studio Drift was founded in 2007 by Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta of Dutch origins. It is dedicated to installations, performances and sculptures. With the use of technology, Studio Drift creates works in rhythm with nature and the human body.
